Dedicated to breaking the barriers that limit a woman’s choice to pursue and thrive in both career and motherhood, &Mother advocates for lactation services, deferral policies, childcare and more so mothers to empower athletes and make races more accessible. They also help professional runners to advocate for pregnancy and parental leave.

The Running Industry Diversity Coalition unites the running industry to improve the inclusion, visibility, and access for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. The RIDC hosts workshops and events, champions research studies, and offers a job board to educate brands, retailers, and partners; and provide opportunities for success.

Back on My Feet combats homelessness and addiction through the power of running programs, community support, and essential employment and housing resources. If there is a program in your area, you can volunteer to run with the groups.

Girls on the Run provides girl empowerment programs that build confidence, kindness and decision making skills. A GOTR program at my elementary school is the reason I started running! You can volunteer with their 3rd - 8th grade programs in your local area.

The Game Changers program aims to bring in more Women of Color as Certified Run Coaches and redefine who is seen as the experts and leaders in the run industry. Through funding, mentorship, and business strategy skills, this program supports women of color create run coaching careers.
